We Started
Simple.
We started with a simple idea: a sari-sari store for our neighborhood. A place where people could quickly get what they needed. Cold drinks, daily essentials, snacks, and the little things that make everyday life easier.
There are eight of us siblings, and we wanted to build something together. The store gave us a shared space and a way to be part of the community around us.
As people started coming in, we noticed something we did not expect. Some would stay, talk, and spend more time than they originally planned. That made us think about what the space could become.
Store.
And Music.
We are eight siblings, and music has always been part of our lives. While we were building the store, that love for music was always with us.
Eventually, we started asking ourselves why the two had to stay separate. What if the place where people came for their everyday needs could also be somewhere they could eat, drink, listen to music, and share a song?
That idea became part of what Z-8 is today. A neighborhood store with music at its heart.
Eat. Drink.
Hang Out.
Sing.
The Lounge became our way of bringing the two sides of Z-8 together. It is a casual space where we can share good food, cold drinks, music, and time with the people who come through our doors.
We enjoy hearing our customers sing with us, which is why the mic is open. You do not have to be a performer. If you want to sing, grab the mic and join us.
Come for the food and drinks. Stay for the music. Or bring your voice and become part of the night.

The name carries everything. The place we come from and the people who built it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Who We Are
Today.
Z-8 is still the store it always was. We added food, drinks, a mic stand, and a stage. Still a store. Still a family. Now with a little more room to stay.
